In-person event at Huashan

If you have a publication or a body of local knowledge, Huashan is worth visiting on 21 August

886 MUSEUM + LOCAL EXPO takes place from 13:30 to 17:30 on 21 August 2026 at the Arch Hall, 2F, Central Building 3, Huashan 1914 Creative Park. Free with advance registration, it is designed for museum and cultural workers, local teams, publishers, teachers, researchers, creators and anyone interested in Taiwan’s local stories.

The main reason to attend is to turn the abstract idea of “AI transformation” into something you can operate, compare and question. Using a phone, you can ask different publications questions, see how content is organised, translated and answered, and judge what might work for your own institution, classroom, research or community practice.

Just as importantly, the event brings together people usually separated by geography and discipline. Alongside learning about digital museum practice, publications as AI docents and ways local stories can reach communities and international audiences, participants can exchange methods, meet potential collaborators and leave with a clearer next step.
